1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies such as localStorage, sessionStorage, and pixels. Throughout this policy we refer to all of these as "cookies" for simplicity.
2. Categories of cookies we use
Strictly necessary
These are required for Astryón to function. They keep you signed in, remember the workspace you are currently viewing, protect against cross-site request forgery, and secure your session. The product cannot be delivered without them and they cannot be turned off.
Preferences
Used to remember small UI choices — for example whether the sidebar is expanded, your last-visited workspace tab, and your notification toggle preferences. These improve your experience but Astryón will still work if they are disabled.
Analytics
We may use privacy-friendly analytics to understand which pages and features are used, and to diagnose errors. Where required by law, we will ask for your consent before setting analytics cookies. We do not sell or share this data with advertising networks.
Payments
Our checkout is powered by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle may set its own cookies when you open a Paddle checkout to process the payment securely, prevent fraud, and remember your payment details for the duration of that checkout. Paddle's own cookie use is described at paddle.com.
3. Third parties
Some cookies are set by third parties we rely on to run the Service, including our authentication and hosting providers and Paddle. These third parties act only on our instructions and are described further in our Privacy Policy.
4. How long cookies stay
Some cookies are "session" cookies that are deleted when you close your browser. Others are "persistent" and remain on your device until they expire (typically between 30 days and 12 months) or until you delete them.
5. Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies at any time through your browser settings. Doing so will sign you out of Astryón and may break preferences you have saved. Where we ask for consent for non-essential cookies, you can withdraw that consent at any time by contacting founder@astryon.in.
6. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the current version. Material changes will be announced in-app or on our website.
